    Structure

To ensure maximum impact, Decalō Labs are designed to involve and engage cohort participants. They are intentionally small and intimate, with 10-20 cohort members, creating a safe space for learning, practice, and growth through shared experiences. Because cohorts consist of members outside your organization, confidentiality is ensured, and organizational status is irrelevant. While our approach incorporates adult learning practices that invite individual experiences, Decalō Labs creates an environment for experiential learning that does not require demonstrated competence.

  • Objectives

Decalō Leadership Labs helps cohort members become leaders that team members choose to follow. Decalō Leadership Lab cohorts learn how to:

Define and communicate personal values that frame their leadership philosophy and shape ethical decision-making practices, thereby mitigating risks and fostering sustainable solutions.

Create a team culture where members feel safe to fully engage and share their perspective.

Motivate creative exploration to drive innovative solutions.

Engender trust among team members and stakeholders, making collaboration easier and more productive.

Establish a culture of accountability that fosters ownership of one’s actions and acknowledges their impact on the team.

Effectively navigate change to build personal and organizational adaptability and resiliency.

    Cohort Selection

Cohort selection is crucial to forming a well-rounded and dynamic group. Because of the inherent interdependencies in the cohort learning environment, participants must be:

Committed to personal and professional growth.

Interested in learning how to be a leader that people choose to follow.

Able to participate in all Lab components.

    Duration and Format

Decalō Labs’ leadership development cohorts experience four 6-hour interactive and experiential workshops and eight 1-hour virtual group coaching sessions that facilitate group discussions on member projects, insights, and experimentation. Over the course of 12 months, Decalō Leadership Lab participants will receive 32 hours of facilitated training and group engagement, resulting in increased clarity on their leadership identity and empowered confidence in their ability to lead so that others will follow.

  • Group Coaching

Group coaching is a vital and dynamic element of Decalō Leaders labs. It combines the benefits of individual coaching with the collective power of shared learning and diversity of thought, strengthening collaboration and emotional intelligence. Within an environment of inquiry and reflection, the group coaching sessions help lab cohort members further explore, practice, and sustain workshop insights. Our group coaching sessions foster a sense of community, accelerate learning, promote collaboration, create a safe space for reflection and growth, enhance effective communication, and strengthen emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
